Hi
I am currently on Universal credit, there is a possibility i might have a job before Nov 8th. Would i still be entitled to this payment or would it cease if i take the job.
I am unable to find a answer anywhere to this.
Thanks

You get the cost of living payment if you received Universal Credit (or were entitled to a payment of UC) between 26 August and 25 September so you should still get it,regardless of your position on 8 November. Payments are due between 8 November and 23 November

Even if you start a job before 8th November, you won’t see a change in your UC until you are paid by the company (guessing that would be end of November unless weekly paid) and then it would only take into account your take home pay after deductions for tax, NI and pension (if applicable). And, depending on your entitlement, you may still qualify for some UC once working.

I don't know if it's the same but we were on Tax Credit. That stopped in the late summer due to a change of job . We got the pro rata amount of the first payment in line with the time we had been on TC.
