Recycling a small dishwasher rack?

Hi everyone,

Just replaced the top shelf/rack in our dishwasher because it had gone rusty. It's a plastic-coated metal wire rack. Not full sized- we have a narrower dishwasher than normal so it's a bit smaller.

Reckon I can just put it in the recycling bin with the cans?

I would say no because it isn't a can.

(It's plastic coated too which isn't going to help it's recyclability)
