Good morning Mumsnet! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day. The washer's on already with the first of 2 loads & I'll pop that on the line when it finishes.

I need to pop to town today for some things for my Rainbows and Guides on Tuesday. It's sunny out so we'll probably walk - I say we; dd1 will definitely come, dd2 might stay here. I promised a trip to Starbucks for pumpkin spice lattes too so we'll probably do that since we have plans the next 2 weekends.

Later on I have 4 tops to finish altering for my friend. They're all pinned & just need stitching so not too long of a job. And I need to attach ears and horns to the 3 Billy Goats Gruff and troll story spoons for work.

I think we'll have chicken for tea, in tomato sauce with pasta on the side and some sort of veggies.

Popped to Oxford today for a wonder round with my DH and baby DD, a lovely burger for dinner and now we're having an early night she's currently teething so we shall see how tonight goes to decide what to do tomorrow.

Popped to Weston to see the See Monster, couldn't be arsed to queue for over an hour to get on the thing though!

Fish and chips for tea then back home for Strictly. Made DS (12) watch it and he was aghast at how rubbish it was (his words).

As a treat we made him watch Blankety Blank with us. I don't think he's talking to me now. Can't say I blame him 😄

Really enjoyed the sunshine today. Took DS to drumming & football. DD went out with a friend to a mini railway for the day so DS really enjoyed having some 1-1 time. After lunch we watched DH play in a coaches tag rugby game, came home, cleaned the downstairs of the house, built some Lego with DS. Then picked up DD and put her to bed. Let DS stay up and have a Chinese takeaway with us, he’s now in bed and we are chilling out watching TV.

I'm currently making a pot of tea while DS is outside collecting eggs and sorting out the hens. DD is upstairs playing/getting dressed and DH is still in bed. Both dogs are laying in a sunbeam on the rug.

We are having bacon baguettes soon and doing homework/uni work. DH has a portfolio to work on today. I'll put a beef joint in the slow cooker for a roast later, and maybe do some baking. Me and DC will take the dogs out for a walk at some point. Family film before bath and bed and then DH and I will binge watch the rest of Inside Man. We were out all day yesterday so nice quiet family day at home today.

Just sitting down to watch the F1 - couldn't bring myself to get up at 6am to watch it.

Been up and fed DD and she's now on her wee bouncy chair and due a nap. DH is making breakfast; not sure what, but I hear eggs being cracked.

I want to take a drive into town later to go get some crafty things as I want to make some nice Christmas cards for DDs first Christmas - maybe make some shapes out of handprints in paint etc!

DS2 and I have just got back from our Yoga class and are eating crumpets.

He's off out with DS1 & DS3 foraging and I am out this afternoon to meet the owners of a lovely dog I found through BorrowMyDoggy.

Roast Pork for tea, I'll make a traybake and some cookies to go in the oven while it's on.

I'll try and do some more sorting of the sewing room.

Bit of ironing this evening.

We watched hocus pocus 2 this morning, it was actually quite good for a prequel.

My husbands taking my son to the park in a bit (lovely and sunny here), so me and the baby are going to do a bit of messy play.

We’re making pizzas for tea, so I need to start getting the dough ready in a bit. Apart from that general Sunday laziness and the joys of thinking about work tomorrow…

Granddaughter has now gone home, she slept at our house last night.

I've just got out the shower, put on brand new loungewear (mink velour hoodie and loose joggers) I've got four new books to start and my DH is making a mega roast for us.

Having a lovely day as he will insist on washing up as I made a load of batch cooked meals last weekend.

The bedding is freshly washed and drying also.

Probably going to watch Shark Bait later and possibly even the new elvis film or bullet train aswell.

The other two books are too heavy going to start today. I want something easy I can get lost in.

Had a long lie in this morning, followed by 2 mugs of coffee sitting outside in the sun, followed by 2 loads of laundry. Very excitedly picked DD2 up from the train station on her first visit since going away to university. Smothered her in cuddles, then DH and I took her for a Sunday roast. So, so lovely to see her and to hear all her news.

Back home now and said DD2 is fast asleep on the sofa next to me with her head on my shoulder and snoring a bit - bless her. Have just signalled DH to make me a cup of tea (very quietly).

Later I'm dropping DD1 at her boyfriend's house, then back home to watch Strictly and start on my new, absolutely gorgeous Ehrman tapestry.

Today we've done homework etc this morning, got 2 loads of washing on the line, changed beds etc.

Just been for a family swim, home now, DC on screens / lego / colouring I've just had a shower to warm up and am about to settle down with some sewing for an hour or so before dinner.

Still need to sort school bags, coats, shoes etc

A lovely Sunday so far

Got up early - gorgeous morning - fed cat and local lame fox. Made tea in bed for DH and then breakfast for DH. Went to church. Helped out at a harvest lunch for a few hours. Walked home in heels in hot sunshine so my feet are stinging. Currently chilling on the sofa with DCat. Had promised DH I'd make a spicy apple cake today but I think I've done my fill of Stepford-Wifing for the day .

DH has done the last grass cut of the year.
‘I’ve been doing uni work for my course.
Roast chicken in my new Ninja as we speak, so will be chilling after Sunday roast dinner and wine.

I’m on a bench in the garden with a cup of tea, enjoying the sunshine.
DP is hacking back dead foliage while DD is playing with her Lego Minnie Mouse and a big bucket of water. I fear for that mouse…

This morning, DP took a very hyper DD to the nearby SEND play centre while I got on with chores, like weeding out DD’s outgrown tops and dresses.

Lunch was pasta with Marcella Hazan’s tomato sauce - very simple but so tasty - and I’ve just baked some chocolate chip cookies.

Not sure what we’ll have for supper - possibly just toast. We’ll probably collapse on the sofa with Grand Designs once DD’s asleep.
