Anyone had a good UK 'girls' weekend' they can recommend?

Sorry, that's a really clunky title but hopefully it makes sense!

I'm looking for a destination for a weekend away in February, maybe 10-12 women.
Somewhere between London and Cardiff ideally.
We've done Center Parcs before and really enjoyed it but looking for something different.
I'm open to suggestions - could be a spa weekend, city break, holiday cottage, or something else.

Has anyone been on a really good girls' holiday or hen do type weekend and could recommend?

I had a really girls fun weekend in Brighton. We stayed here hawkmoreholidaylets.co.uk/our-properties/the-beach-house/7
We had one night where we stayed in, played games and had pizza, then the second night we went out for dinner, karaoke & dancing. During the days we mainly did some sightseeing and shopping in Brighton and we did a dance class.

Had the best break at Celtic Manor. In addition to the spa, pool, afternoon tea and cocktail bars, it has lots of activities like archery, foot golf, laser quest and treetop nets.
I’ve tried a city break with a group of 10+ and it didn’t really work. We couldn’t really go shopping in a group that size, everyone wanted to go to different attractions and when we did all go to the same attractions everyone went round at a different pace!

Belfast. Ok not between London and Cardiff, but well worth the short flight. Absolutely loads to see and do. So much history, great places to eat and drink and the locals could not have been friendlier or more welcoming.

Is bath too close to Cardiff? Great for a girls weekend, thermal spa is amazing and plenty of lovely restaurants, shops, history.

No, not at all - is there somewhere particular you stayed?

It depends on budget, the Gainsborough is wonderful but pricey and for a larger group I'd look for an air b&b.
