How do I get internet?

I'm useless with this type of thing.

I've just moved house and my broadband provider can't install until the end of the month.

What's the best way for me to get online - I'm working from home so need to be able to make video calls etc. do I buy a dongle? Do I need a SIM card? I'm so confused 😩

I used a dongle during the first lockdown. We live rurally with a mediocre signal but it just about coped for a few weeks

You should be able to turn your phone into a hotspot

You could tether to your phone if you have decent data or get a dongle for a month. I use ee 4g WiFi for my Internet as its much faster than what I could get from my normal one.

If you get Wi-Fi you can connect to btwifi and pay e.g. Around £30 for a month's usage, I know this as when needed I used the day pass for it.

That's risky depending on your data package, if your on a set amount and you go over the amount it can soon rack up £££
