Would anyone share with me how much they pay to play tennis at David Lloyd, monthly fee and what type of membership it is ?

£160 per month for individual platinum membership to include spa when finished at David Lloyd in the midlands.

Autumn22isHere · 06/10/2022 23:10

Oh wow that's even more than I thought!

Don't even enquire with them or they'll cold-call you and email spam you forever.
Come to PureGym like me and the other riff-raff for £21/month.

Which Pure Gyms have tennis courts?

I pay £72 a month in the South East but that is only Club membership, not racquets also!

very jealous of the poster above with spa membership- mine doesn’t have these facilities but the ones with spa’s look AMAZING!

JudgeRindersMinder · 07/10/2022 07:15

£55 for non racquet membership (Scotland)

PinkDaffodil2 · 07/10/2022 07:19

Ours was £200pcm for two adults platinum with racquets but that’s with an NHS discount. Probably more expensive now but we have left until finances pick up.

You can find out easily online. Fees vary from club to club, some are cheaper than others as they have different “tiers” based on location. You can enter fake details if you really don’t want to be contacted. If you don’t mind being contacted they will probably just email you the info once and make one follow up call, no biggie. That was my experience. You can also opt out of emails anyway as per gdpr regulations with any business. Worth asking about paying a year upfront to get 10% off and no
joining fees.

Mopton Keynes was 120 a month with sports although this was before covid.
God I'd love to join, there is a new one in bicester. Wish I could afford it. They are really lovely, esp the spa areas. No worry about rushing to get a place in classes too, always room.

HunterHearstHelmsley · 07/10/2022 09:52

£64 for platinum - West Midlands. I get a slight discount, I think is £70 full price. Children are £25 each (free until 3)

Autumn22isHere · 07/10/2022 22:25

Thanks so much …. More than I’d imagined to be honest.

Diamond £179 per month

Platinum £149.00 per month

Club plus £136.00 per month

just outside London

DoThePropeller · 07/10/2022 22:40

If it’s tennis you’re after, a local tennis club will almost certainly be cheaper.

Am1beingUnreasonable · 07/10/2022 22:43

£110 platinum for me, absolutely wasn’t worth it in the end

PhillyJoe · 07/10/2022 22:45

£90 Platinum. I was about to quit but mine is just getting an upgrade with a spa so I might stick around a bit longer.

HRD2be · 07/10/2022 22:45

I was paying £124 a month for platinum in SE.

MonkeyPuddle · 07/10/2022 22:48

My sister and her OH pay about £65 each per month for gym, swim and racquet sports. Yorkshire.

SafeHeaven · 07/10/2022 22:48

All prices are on their website now.

I'm a member at DL and a local tennis club. Coaching is cheaper at the local too. It didn't work for DP & me for one of us to be a tennis member & the other not

UndertheCedartree · 23/10/2022 20:51

I'm considering membership at my local club in the home counties. For platinum individual membership they are asking £139 per month with a half price joining fee of £75 including 3 personal trainer sessions. For DC it is £33 per month with a £10 joining fee. There is a discount of £75 if you 'join today'.

I'm going to look round next week and see what I think. It is very expensive but equally I think we would use it a lot. They've got a bit of a captive audience though as there are no other luxury gyms around here.
