Tales of lighthearted karma

I wonder if anyone has any tales of any karma that they've been witness to (or received themselves?) they'd like to share? Lighthearted stuff not angry revenge type stuff...

I'll start with mine. Last week it was my birthday and on the way to my birthday day out I went along to the Costa coffee drive thru (had two sleeping babies in the back so couldn't park and run in)

The queue was fairly long and to avoid blocking cars who needed to pass by on the other side of the road I didn't turn in and left a gap between me and the car in front... I had my indicator on so it was obvious what I was doing.

Anyway a woman who was in the car behind me clearly didn't care about blocking the other side of the road so drove around me and pulled in in front, taking my spot in the queue.

I was quietly annoyed and gave her a shake of the head and eye roll (and mouthed an obscenity!) and she gave me a smirking look in the rear view mirror.

Anyway I saw her get her order and pay and drive off.

As I pulled up to the window the woman serving said the system was glitching and after a few seconds handed me my order and said "dont worry about paying!"

If that lady hadn't pushed in the queue, her order would have likely been free Smile. Silly thing, but made me smile!!!

I hope she saw you get your freebie!

Exh fabricated a tale of assault and tried to sue the offender.. He told anyone who would listen his woes and plans for The Big Payout..
Following his death this year when his name is Googled the article regarding his case is directly underneath.
The visible first line of the article states the offender was found not guilty!
Hopefully all the ones who believed him feel pretty daft now..

That doesn't sound lighthearted santagiveyoursackawash!

I was on the receiving end - forgot about my flu and covid vaccine appointment last week. Rang and grovelled and got another appointment for next week.

Can't make it, because I now have covid. 🤦

Had a really sexist boss, who managed two teams. One was me and another woman, the other was two guys.

the guys could do nothing wrong. In his eyes. To the rest of the office, they were a lazy pair of arses.

i put up with his crap, and was happy to move to another department.

about a month later, I heard his new flat had been flooded. And I smiled.

I got my karma handed to me on my own plate. I was at windsor horse show and a lady was in the show ring leading her horse. She started to run alongside it and fell over, but one of those falls that takes forever as you keep running in slow motion knowing full well your are heading for the the floor.

I tried very hard not to laugh but my while body was shaking so much I split hot tea all over myself. I deserved it.

A guy in a brand new beautiful Porsche parked in a parent and child space with no child with him. I happened to arrive and leave around the same time and debated with myself about having a word with him and asking him to be more considerate. I decided not to and then saw him manoeuvre out the space fairly aggressively only to ram the front of his car into a bollard. Twice. I’m not sure he realised quite how much damage it had done because he didn’t even get out to look!

Sorry but this made me laugh. I'm horsey and I can really picture it. Where you try and sort of run with it. Grin

Had some boy racer type in the kfc crive thru in front of me, was shouting and revving his engine trying to hurry them up taking his order and generally just being a bit of a prat.
The young girl handed him his bag of food, then his large drink which he snatched out of her hands, upending it all over himself, drivers seat and lap full of food.

Was beautiful, almost slow motion. Poor girl offered to remake it all, but his rage took over and he sped off effing and blinding.

At our local market town one sunny morning, I slow to a halt by a row of shops indicating right to take the only remaining parking space. There is a little cafe there where I pick up my lunch on the way to work and a small stationers where I am in need of some supplies.

A row of traffic is coming up the hill towards me on the other side so I wait for the vehicles to pass. At the tail end is a van who can clearly see what I am trying to do, but he decides he is going to nick my parking space. I have to drive on further, find a side road and walk back.

Now, the little row of shops and the parking is a place called Market Hill. Yes, it is all around an incline and the parked cars and the van need to have hand brakes in good working order. Handbrake on, switch engine off, leave in gear. Except van driver didn’t and judging by the state of his van it probably never got serviced at all.

As I arrive walking at the cafe, there is a little queue inside so I wait by the door looking over the scene. Suddenly, I notice the van parked outside start to move and then roll out of its spot towards the road. A school bus sees it too and brakes, but the van gathering momentum continues on its downhill roll. I am practically speechless, but manage to shout to van man inside that his van is rolling down the hill.

He charges out, but there is nothing he can do. It’s now too far away and gathering momentum. He, I and a couple of locals and some kids on the bus watch the van continue it’s journey down the slope. Is it going to hit the florists window or just miss and continue further towards the bottom where the road curves around a grassy embankment where it may just come to a safe halt?

it misses the florists and continues down the road to the bend and grassy embankment. As it does so, round the bend comes a police car at which point the van embeds itself into the front of the car and van man drops the bacon rolls he is holding.
