What does your 7 year old like?

I need to buy a birthday present for a 7 year old girl. Would like to spend no more than £50. What would you buy?

At that age mine liked science kits, den making stuff/exploring stuff, Lego and dolls (My generation style or barbie)

Board games. Junior Settlers of Catan and/or Junior Ticket to Ride or Dragonimo. Nephew is 7 and loves all of these (and we are looking forward to buying him the adult versions in due course)
