Itchy toes

Does anyone else get itchy toes in the winter?
Google is just coming up with chilblains but it’s not cold enough for that yet. I had it for the first time last year and put it down to wearing the same pair of boots almost every day so I chucked them away but it’s started again now. Last year I tried a treatment for athletes foot thinking it might be that but it wasn’t in between the toes it’s more on top? It got so bad last year that my toes were swollen and red from scratching them and only really got better in the spring when I started to not wear boots/wellies/slippers/socks all the time.

Honestly, it's chilblains. I know it's not "that cold" but you're more likely to still be wearing sandals/no socks occasionally in the autumn, whereas in winter it's all thick socks, boots or slippers at all times!

But it only seems to start when I make the switch to boots. I haven’t worn sandals since august! I wondered if it’s something to do with the pressure on my toes wearing a heeled boot? 🤔

I know I have found myself jumping on my own toes when they have been so itchy 😂😂😂

It’s probably the changes in temperature from switching between boots and no boots etc that’s triggering it.

I get it a bit too, switched from sandals to trainers a couple of weeks ago (its nowhere near cold enough for boots here yet). I did dab on some athletes foot cream last night which seemed to zap it instantly so assumed it was that.
