Dubrovnik area or Lagos Portugal- which is cheaper?

I'm about to book flights for the summer to one of these destinations but want to try to figure out which would be cheaper for six adults eating out a lot and drinking in bars etc ( we end up paying for our young adult DC so it really adds up!)

Can anyone give an idea of costs for the above and also food shopping prices for self catering meals compared with UK (south east England)?

We went to Majorca last year and summer it expensive so want to compare it with that, I suppose

Portugal is fairly cheap for Brits.
I haven't been to Dubrovnik for years, but know someone (British) who lives there, and he says it's expensive for tourists.

Not sure on Lagos prices but we were in Dubrovnik this summer and eating / drinking in bars and restaurants was very expensive. London prices and then some!

Definitely Lagos. Dubrovnik is pricey to eat and drink, the Algarve is not
