Half a stone overweight....

....I’m 53 and throughout my life my weight has fluctuated between 9 and 10 stone.
I’m 5’5” so within a healthy BMI.

I’m currently just under 10 stone and know I should be eating more healthily but I actually feel like I can’t be bothered with the constant obsession with calories and weight gain/loss.
I’d much rather enjoy my food and be a bit heavier than I maybe should be.
I should add that I’ve recently developed a very sweet tooth, whereas in the past I preferred more savoury foods.

Has anyone else decided to stick two fingers up to the Weight Battle?

Yes. Good on you!

As long as you are healthy and happy it's good not to get hung up on an exact weight
If your BMI is OK then that's fine

Yes, although I am more than 1/2 stone overweight Sad

I realised not long ago that I had spent more than 30 years following one diet or another. I have been to virtually every Slimming World or WW group in a 10 mile radius over the years which I dread to add up the cost of, and I am still no thinner.

I'm mid 50's now, I've given up.
