Coups this be hand, foot and mouth (photo)

My son has come home from school with this rash today. He has a few ulcers but does suffer with these so I wasn't concerned. He has no blisters on his hands or feet that I can see. I will call the Dr in the morning but I just wondered if anyone on here had any experience with it as it is very contagious and I will start keeping him isolated. Thanks.

This was me & my daughter with HFM last year. Looks like it definitely could be. Hope he's ok!

Not in my experience I’m afraid. Hand foot and mouth rash is usually visually similar to chickenpox with a raised, shiny, light red bump that becomes a blister with a greyish centre.

Thank you. Nothing on his hands and feet yet but it is under his chin and he has had a tummy ache and headache today. I'll keep him away from people for now and maybe call the Dr to check in the morning. I thought it could be just in one place so I was just checking.
