Are you a massive film buff?

If you are what do you want for Christmas?

Previously I've done the scratch off 100 movies, a BFI subscription, etc

Is there some stream of film buff gifts I am yet to mine?

Thanks.

My husband and son are huge film buffs.

I've bought film cells, framed,
Framed film posters
Film related jigsaws
Magazine subscription
Loads of film books
The odd t shirt

One time I got a print made of a pile of video tapes and had their favourite films printed in assorted handwriting style typefaces in the spines. That came from Etsy.

Another one looked like a framed Periodic Table but the letters were film titles and the atomic numbers were the year the film was made.
Neither have been able to work them all out.

It depends on what type of films they enjoy. If it’s mainstream/blockbusters, I bought DH this Back to the Future visual history book. It has lots of film related removable items inside (save the clock tower leaflet, parents prom photo). It’s really nicely done and full of interesting information.

If they’d be interested in memorabilia or you have a bigger budget you could look at places like the Fan Cave who have autographed merch.

There are often Comic Cons dotted around the country and you can buy day tickets or packages. Ours recently had the cast members from Cobra Kai and the original Karate Kid.
