Any idea of NHS wait times for children's orthodontics in SE ?

As above really ! Does anyone have any ideas what sort of time NHS orthodontics for children are taking in the South East ? Both from referral to assessment and assessment to starting treatment. Thanks !

6-9 months for assessment. Then when they have the first one as in a check up to see if you get braces on the nhs they call you in 2 weeks with an appointment then from there I don’t know as that’s only as far as we have got. Took her to dentist in March for a referral and only went to the orthodontist the other day.

Basically- Long!
