Does anyone know If you can use Google Translate on a video which is on a PowerPoint file?

if it is, how would I do this. I’ve searches on Google and YouTube and can’t find out if or how to do it. Huge thanks

I don't know, but be aware that anything you put through Google Translate is analysed by Google and stored for future reference. There is no confidentiality or security.

Are you wanting to translate audio or text on the video?

FreezingThyme · 05/10/2022 17:10

Thanks . I need to translate the audio on the video which is in German. There's not a problem with Google analysing it as it's a very tame subject .

Play the video and have Google Translate open at the same time. Click the microphone icon in Google translate and you'll get an idea of what they are saying if it's clear enough

What's the reason you need subtitles or a translation? There are many human subtitlers and translators, and I'd advise you use them above Google Translate for anything professional.
