Any great and unusual quiz ideas?

We’re having a small, relaxed wedding and would like to do a quiz between food courses. We were know for doing brilliant and inventive quizzes during lockdown zooms but they were mixed media. This will just be us in a room. We’ve got a few good ideas but are hoping that mumsnetters might have something better!

we only want 2/3 rounds and pretty short. Just something fun and lighthearted that will only take a few mins.

Not sure but I'd think of something wedding themed eg. Pictures of slebs and match those that are married/ partners. Or look at the anniversary 'emblems' , which anniversary is 'paper' or silver'. Stuff like that which will be fun and relevant, rather than eg what is the capital of Ghana etc

You've probably thought of it already but at a wedding we went to recently they did a Mr and Mrs game. We had two coloured cards and we had to guess which of the married couple the statement referred to. Eg who is definitely not a morning person.
All the guests stand up and hold up the card relating to each person. They have to sit down if they get it wrong. And it goes on until there is a winner. Went down quite well!

Thanks. I think wedding or tied to us makes sense. We are both from two different UK cities so thought of maybe having one that tied in with that. Maybe based on slang?

my brother had a quiz after dinner instead of speeches - they got family to write a round on each of the bride and groom, their mutual friends did a round, and someone did one on the local area

It sounds like a really fun idea btw. It would definitely get people engaged. Charades between your Dad and you or your DH's Mum and him might be hilarious too.

They’d be so awkward and stiff that it would be painful to watch (and not in a good way).

Do you think we need to have a prize for the winning table? It’s an open bar so can’t get a round of drinks or anything like that.
