I actually have a vibrating bed

My bed vibrates in the middle of the night. It’s been going on for years. It’s not every night and sometimes it doesn’t happen for months. What on earth could it be? I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and the bed is vibrating. It’s not sleep paralysis as I am wide awake. It’s not the heating or water as they are off. We live in the middle of nowhere so not neighbours or traffic. I now just get up when it happens and go to the bathroom. When I get back into bed it’s stopped. I’m not even freaked out anymore although when it first happened I was terrified. Any ideas as to what it is or how I can stop it? DH sleeps in the other room due to insomnia so not him.

Are you sure it's the bed? I've had this feeling and it was internal tremors due to anxiety. Genuinely feels like the bed is shaking.

Yes definitely the bed. I put my hand on the mattress and it’s vibrating. It’s so unnerving.
