NHS new role on a higher band question

I am currently at the top of a band 3 but have been offered a band 4 role. Does anyone know where I would start on a band 4 scale? Would it be at the bottom? I have worked the the trust for 3.5 years. Manager is on AL this week so unable to check. Hoping someone has knowledge about this and can advise. TIA

Yes you would start at the bottom of band 4

You start at the equivalent level of what your on ie:

22000 on top band 3
21000 bottom band 4

You would start at 22000

In my trust anyway ☺️

As pp says you will start at bottom of new band unless that’s less than what you’re in now as in the pp example above

I don't think the salary overlaps but check. If they don't you will start on bottom of band 4. Good luck with new role

The pay doesn't overlap across bands anymore so you would start on the lowest band 4 pay point.

New AfC salaries don't overlap (on admin) so you would start at the bottom of B4

You can double check with HR or payroll

Thanks all, I haven't accepted it yet as i'm not sure it's actually worth it. While I really want to progress my career, the difference in pay is very little and my current job offers flexibility around childcare (I have a 1 year old) and the days and hours suit me well and enables me to spend time off with DS where as this role isn't as flexible. Need to decide by today but it's a tough decision.
