Wondering if anyone can shed any light on what deposits are please?
My work mate (he's a bit like a little brother at times) has been off sick as he has cancer. We met up for a coffee, he's been having a really rough time and pushing his boyfriend away and not really coping. He was talking about him needing another op, one testical has already been removed but he's back in surgery on Friday as been told he may lose the other one, they need more biopsies etc to confirm cancer type and need to open his lower abdomen.
He's had scans and all kinds of tests and there are deposits on his bowel, intestine and something else (my mind went and everything went into a blur), I felt stupid to ask as he was getting upset so just held him and told him it would be okay. (I know I don't know why I said it i really shouldn't have as have no idea if he will but I really want him to be and trying to keep him strong I guess) and I didn't want to ask him when he was so upset
Anyway, what I'm asking is what are deposits? Does this mean they think the cancer has spread to other areas?
