Asking for a friend. Hes practically having a breakdown as a band 5 on a busy mainly care of the elderly ward. Abused by families left right and centre, short staffing, never being put on weekends and hardly any nights so the pay is rubbish. Hes applied for day surgery mainly hands by the looks of it. Job description says 23hr care. Anyone ever worked in this area? Ive always been on the wards myself.
