Do you think sometimes the more you talk about your problems the worse they get ?

Have you found this to be the case.?

Not really. If you just talk and about the same problem(s) over and over again without any sort of plan or potential resolution then nothing will change or get better. Some people love to wallow and play the victim when there are things they could be doing to improve their situation they just won't do it. Eventually any friends or family who were trying to be helpful or supportive just get fed up at which point the person will feel things have got worse.

Repeatedly ruminating and moaning does nothing to help, and in my opinion can lead to worse feelings. Repeating and reliving negativity ingrains it.

On the other hand, reflection is helpful. Critically thinking over the issue, to analyse what has happened/what went wrong/what can I learn from this and do differently next time- is beneficial.
Then move on.
