I've never really looked at the fresh bakery in our local store. If you have, apart from bread and rolls could you possibly tell me what else they bake fresh in store?

Best jam doughnuts are Lidl

The doughnut is bready, the jam is quite sour and covered in icing sugar

M&S apricot danish isthe best danish in the world!😋

The chocolate chip cookies are utterly superior to any anywhere else.

Portuguese tarts. The cheesy bread, the olive bread. The wee granary loaf. And definitely the lemon muffins.

Never mind the bakery. I’m still trying to find someone to recommend the right sort of chips to go with my steak!

I prefer the in-store baked cookies. I have bought the frozen ones but I find it tricky to time them to perfection in my oven. The instore ones have the just perfect amount of squidge I like in a cookie. The Belgian chocolate pieces are Devine.
