Informal visit for a potential job

I'm going to visit the company that I'm going to apply for a job at, its healthcare mainly private but commissioned for NHS patients too. Isn't an NHS organisation. Just wondering

  1. What to wear? I have a smart shirt but no smart trousers only smart jeans so would need to buy I. E black trousers
  2. What questions to ask them, I thought I'd ask about how the team is made up, maybe career progression, what their induction process is like?
Any ideas on either would be helpful thank you

What will you wear for interview? I think jeans are fine but some may not.

Ask about the job, the clients, what an average working day looks like, what they're hoping for in the successful applicant, why the job is available

Definately not jeans for an interview

Absolute no for jeans to an interview.
smart trousers and top for informal visit.
Ypu have good questions to ask there already.

It's not a job interview, it's a visit to a place that I want to apply for a job at. I thought smart jeans and shirt might be too casual in which case I'll need to hastily buy a smart pair of trousers this morning!

If I got an interview I definitely wouldn't wear jeans, it would be a smart dress/smart skirt and top/smart trousers and shirt

So I just got back, wore black trousers and a shirt. The manager informally interviewed me on the spot 😳
I wasn't expecting that!
