Did fate bring me down to earth with a bump

Me last week: jobs great I’m doing really well , meeting deadlines getting shit done

Today: WTAF why am I employed to do this job? Turns out to be one of the most stressful days in the job all because no one told (nor did it enter my brain) that I’d have to check contractors ID even though they start work at 6am and I’m not in until 10am.

You and me both. Last week, work going great, went to the gym 4 times and actually enjoyed it, loving life
This weekend and today, not got out of bed because covid has wiped me out (first time I've had it). Now when I'm well enough to go back to work I'll be behind on everything and not looking forward to my first exercise class back at the gym.
