You know, the ones that form around criminals being taken to court.
Who does that?

There's a fair few posters on here that certainly write like they are part of an angry mob...

If its a high profile case, child murder for instance, people want to show their anger towards the perpetrator and their support for the victims loved ones. Is that a bad thing?

Yes because it has nothing to do with them, it's self righteous and emotionally incontinent.
