Hi all. Got some flat pack stuff to put together and it doesn’t say what screwdriver you need. This is what the screw looks like. Any ideas?!

Can't quite see, but is there a sort of recessed hex form further in from the head of the screw?

stuffnthings · 03/10/2022 20:25

Also what is on the other end?

NashvilleQueen · 03/10/2022 20:26

Doesn't it need an Allen key?

NCforGore · 03/10/2022 20:27

Can't see well, it usually is an allen key you need, is there not one in the pack with the fittings?

RumJerrySailorRum · 03/10/2022 20:36

Probably an Allan key, which is usually included.

It's an L shape piece of metal.

Daftasabroom · 03/10/2022 20:39

Probably an Allen key or Torx head, sometimes they're interchangeable sometimes not.

It should have been either a Phillips or a Pozidriv. The problem is that that particular screw has missed the bit of the manufacturing process where the recess is formed.
