How much to painters and decorators charge per hour

I doubt they charge per hour? More like per day or per room or whatever. £200 per day maybe?

Our (very good) painter decorator charges £150 for a half day, something like £250 full day and a bit for materials.

It's great value because he is quick and excellent. He tidied up and went over half of our exterior windows in a half day last week, and once painted a double height mezzanine living room, bathroom and bedroom in two days. But you do have to wait a couple of months for him to be free.

I think they usually charge by day or task, it might seem pricey but if you get a good one it's totally worth it.

Here it’s about £250 a day for a good one so about £30ish
