What to get as a wedding gift for a work colleague?

Really appreciate some advice!

I have to get a gift for a work colleague I'm very fond of, have a collection of around £80 but I don't mind chucking in an extra £20 or so. But buying gifts is not a strength (suspect I might have social communication difficulties and I sometimes struggle to know what "normal people" do in social situations).

She's a lovely but quiet lady, in her mid thirties, lives rurally and loves her dogs, no other hobbies she ever speaks about.

What sorts of things do people usually buy? Vouchers maybe? I really don't want to get something that isn't pitched right when it is a present from everyone!

(In order to avoid a drip feed - I normal avoid being in the situation, but ended up organising a collection because no on else did and we usually do a collection for weddings, and I didn't want her left out).

John Lewis vouchers, the couple can choose something nice themselves then and takes the pressure off you a bit.

If it’s from your department not you personally then definitely vouchers eg John Lewis.

Only get John Lewis vouchers if you have a branch locally. They are a pain to use online. (They may have improved in the last few years).

My work colleagues got my husband and I a love2shop voucher which we were able to use for a nice meal at Miller & Carter, but there's lots of places they can be used - including John Lewis!

Make sure there's a branch local, and if not then amazon? I'd hate John Lewis vouchers as its expensive and a far drive away for me. Online shopping from them means expensive delivery too for us
