Meant retouch as faded and roots showing

It won’t go over the roots, no, unless they’re very blonde naturally

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 02/10/2022 23:12

Yes it will refresh the colour on the lightened parts, as PP said it won't take as well on the roots that haven't been bleached although you may get a tinge of colour.

What you can do is mix some of the colour with conditioner and use it when you wash your hair, just leave it on for 3 mins like a conditioning mask and then rinse it off. It will help keep the colour for longer.

when someone posts something I do not understand I generally think hmm not for me, or google it.

This is a question about hair dye, [brand "bleach london"; colour name "washed up mermaid"] someone unfamiliar with the brand and colour will likely not be able to advise on how best to use it.

Pixiedust1234 · 03/10/2022 01:20

No need to be snippy. My first thought was a statue similar to the Copenhagen one had washed up on the Thames. The op could have mentioned it was a hair dye, or you know, posted in style and beauty 🙄

howdoesatoastermaketoast · 03/10/2022 09:19

not sure if this was me but I'm autistic and my post was an honest (if ineffective) attempt to decrease the snippy level.

For what it's worth I think it's a lovely colour.

I thought it was a coded reference to the threads going round about that charity called Mermaids

I hardly understand any of that stuff most of the time anyway so thought it was just me!!

WinOutdoors · 04/10/2022 18:16

I had not the first clue. I thought it was ome off the wall post about spilling bleach in the Thames, leading to dead mermaids. Yes, really!

I think the snippy reference wasn’t aimed at you.
