Smart meter: Anyone else having some bizarre readings?

I’m with SSE, pre-payment with a smart meter.

Meter came up with an ‘above target’ message yesterday evening. Things are looking decidedly odd - I think the images probably speak for themselves!

Clearly very wrong. Available credit has jumped up by 1 decimal place too - should be £13.15, showing as £131.46, and in the top up history, everything has also jumped up by a decimal place, so where I’ve added £10, it shows £100.

Anyone else, or just me?

I'm with British Gas and for about 4 hours today my in house display said we had no Gas supply. Kids' baths seemed warm enough 🤷‍♀️.

Ours is playing up we are with utilita and the app nor the smart meter are showing me how much credit we have. It just says no data. Been like this all day

They are probably updating them with the new prices, mine still has the old price on it (BG)

Prices were updated at 21:44 on Sat, which is when the smart meter alert came up! Funnily enough, received a letter from SSE today with the headline ‘Your In-Home Display will show incorrect energy use amounts on 1 October.’

I’m not worried, as I know it’ll sort itself out at some point - credit left now showing as £105.20 for 1 day and suggesting I should top up £690 for the next 7 days. 🤣 Have unplugged it to let battery drain, maybe it’ll reset itself?

Ours is strangely low the last few days. It's showing a zero rate for gas. We were SSE but had a letter saying they were taken over by someone I can't remember so maybe the smart meters stopped working in the process?

Yes! In the space of about 30 mins on the 30th sept ours went from having spent £1.70 to having spent £40k… 🤷🏻‍♀️

it’s spent the last 2 days showing that I’ve spent about 15p.

BUT, I did update the readings again today and it said I had spent £9 in the last 3 days which must be about right on the new charges so I’m assuming it’s working ok 🤷🏻‍♀️
