Apple crumble - of sorts

Can anyone help with a recipe please? It feels like a crumble and custard day today, but I've only got 2 red apples, flour, oats, butter and honey.

Any ideas on how to make a pudding?

Tia

You can easily make crumble with what you have. Mix flour/sugar/butter and make crumble. caramerise the sugar in the pan and cook apple in it with butter. Assemble and put it into oven.
If you have cornstarch and milk as well, you can easily make vegan custard too.

I'd just thinly slice the apples, lay them in a small glass or ceramic dish then mix the butter and flour to a fine crumb, like you would when making pastry, mix in the oats and the honey, chuck it on top of the apples and bake until it's golden. Maybe it'll take about 20 minutes to cook/bake? Enjoy!

I haven't got sugar or a dish small enough so I need to make individual baked apples with some kind of topping or filling.

A cereal or soup bowl could work if it's oven proof? If not I'd maybe grate the apple and make a basic flapjack with the apples mixed in to it.

If you don't have sugar, you can still make crumble, it just doesn't taste sweet. But you can drizzle honey on top so the end product can be lovely anyway.

I like cooking the apple separately since it takes shorter in the oven and I like very soft apples. If I didn't have sugar, I would cook apple in butter and honey, and add the crumble and bake until golden.

Thanks, I think I'll hollow the apples, cook that in butter, honey, and oats, put it in the apple and put a crumble on top and bake, thanks 😊
