Alton Towers waterpark

Following on from a previous thread. Is the waterpark any good?
Thinking of booking & taking the kids.
How long realistically are you in there for? Any hints/tips?

It’s great, we went at Christmas. I would spend a few hours there, around 2.

We spent an entire day there - arrived as it opened and were among the last to leave! If your kids like slides, then they will be happy for a good while (although mine will spend 3 hours at our local pool so maybe my view is skewed!).

Check the situation with the outdoor slide if your kids love it - they kept opening and closing it when we were last there and they kept missing it.
