Postal strike means small business owners are going to have to stop trading for 4 weeks...

My energy bill has increased 5x since yesterday..

Teachers are so angry they planning a strike... the kids will miss MORE school....

The cost of food, petrol, everything is climbing steeply...

Foodbank use is rising...

People are going to lose their homes & jobs....

Anxiety is spreading among us.

Why do you think that? Pretty much all correspondence, invoicing and so on is done by email etc these days, and most small businesses don't use Royal Mail to send out goods sold. Stock they have ordered will probably be delivered by UPS, DHL or any number of other delivery firms.

Isn’t Royal Mail just having a few days of strikes here and there? Why would that stop small businesses trading for four weeks?
Also, as someone said above, most businesses don’t use Royal Mail anyway. I run a medium sized business and we’ve used DPD for ages.
