Anyone with British Gas?

As above, has anyone with British Gas received notice of what their new monthly payment will be?

My account is still showing the previous amount and I haven’t received any correspondence telling me what my increase will be.

I am on payg but my colleague is with BG on direct debit.

She says you have to make your payment then they reimburse you the months payment

I had a letter a couple of days ago. I'd also had emails but they came randomly and didn't match up with what was on my account!

I've had an email telling me the new rate and how much they think it will now cost for the year. My direct debits haven't changed. I would imagine they will change once the bill is issued so next year's will be higher.

We're with BG and haven't had any correspondence from them either.

Was on the App last night as I put in our meter readings and couldn't see anything on there either.

My app reading is saying I’m in credit (just) and should reduce my payment. Totally ignoring the price increases. My statement from two days ago says I’m quite considerably in debit. I’m not sure they’ve sorted themselves out yet.

I had one email the other day saying that I think the gas had gone from £638 to £847 or something like that ?!

But did my readings last night so will put them in this week

They haven't updated anything on my account.

I also don't understand why they are not just applying a £66 a month discount. Instead they are refunding the money after the direct debit has been paid.

This seems like a recipe for things going wrong. Is it so they can hold the extra money in their accounts for a few days?
