Chessington Zoo

Hello, we are planning on taking my 4 year old to Chessington, to visit just the zoo. Is the zoo on its own big enough to make it a day trip, or would we be better of going to another zoo? Thank you.

No, i don't think it is bug enough for a whole day even if you include the sealife centre. I would recommend drusillas or Colchester zoo if you are coming from the south/south east

Definitely not big enough for the whole day- the majority of the park are the rides.

The zoo and the theme park are very integrated so it might be hard to do one without the other. The aquarium is great though and I love the tiger bridges. Some people find the theme park muzak everywhere annoying. Personally I prefer the animals to the rides

If you're just going for the zoo wait until they release the zoo days/roarsome weekends over the winter which are cheaper.

No and its not a nice zoo either. Colchester is miles better as a zoo
