I live overseas in a tropical country. Hot hot hot. When I was in UK earlier this year I stocked up on (which were) my favourite Sloggies, short/small brief size. I am about size 12, maybe a little on the broader spectrum after 2 covid years sitting on my backside for a lot longer than usual. But…they just don’t fit they way I remember from ye olde shopping in John Lewis days. They keep riding up and just don’t ‘sit’ well, ha ha. Availability locally tends to be much much more on the skimpy side (and I have not worn thongs or tangas for YEARS) And I also do not want to wear knickers that come up to my waist, especially not control type ones (very popular here) in this heat !
I have 2 (well, 3, as I keep looking locally ) options :
Order from Amazon US - bewildering. And every style I have favourited seems to be out of stock.
Friend coming over at Christmas - order online in UK and he can bring (hopefully he won’t mind if his check in bag is searched and ladies undercrackers revealed..)
I have definitely ‘spread out’ a bit since covid, but size wise prob a 14 max.
Can the mumsnet pants hive mind offer any suggestions, or point me towards online sites that might fit the criteria ? Oh also preference for cotton and/or blend, synthetics are the most common here….
