Need UC help please !!! Very confused

I’ve looked online and can’t find an answer. I had a call with CAB and they were unsure and I don’t know what to do !!!

can anyone help me re non dependent deductions ?

my eldest dc gets pip and works (20 but 21 in a couple weeks)

An i right that there’s no UC deducted of £77 a month because of the pip ? BUT they WILL make a deduction from the housing element? Will we have to input income each month or is it just asked at beginning of the claim ?
im really confused CAB said as she’s not named on the tenancy that there won’t be a housing deduction but I think that’s wrong ??

You don't have to be named on the tenancy for a housing deduction to be made. I was in the same situation with my dd when she turned 18 as she was home over the summer between finishing college and going to Uni x

Ok so am I right then that due to her getting pip they won’t deduct for UC but they will make a deduction to our housing benefit based on her income ?
