Happiness project

Does anyone else listen to the happier podcast? I like it and have picked up some good ideas for little things to do, ways to think about life etc. and I'd be intrigued to discuss other things from the show. I also like the idea of starting an actual happiness project, which is basically their way of describing focusing on small changes in different areas of your life and what would make you happier. I know there are often threads like this, but as we're about to start a new month and a lot of us benefit from accountability, I thought I might try another one (taking on board a line from the show: the best time to start a happiness project is 20 years ago, the second best time is now). Anyone want to join me?

I love Gretchen Rubin, and have found so much of her work helpful.
Never tried to tackle a happiness project of my own but it feels like a huge task to plan it out, more so than actually doing it!

Yeah, planning out changes to areas of my life for the whole year (or most of the year) does seem overwhelming! I think what's most important to me is being more patient, calm and fun with DCs, so I might start with a focus on that for October and see how it goes.

Anything you've found particularly helpful? I like a lot of the better than before stuff, but not sure on whether I fit one particular tendency.
