Hi, does anyone here have experience of working as a nurse in a care home? I have worked with the NHS for years but have been offered a job in a private care home. I'm thinking about taking it but what is it actually like?
Do nurses have to get involved in the personal care side alot? Ie: showers, getting patients dressed, etc? Or do the careers do most of that and is the nurse does medication, care plans, etc?
I don't know if I should take this job or stick with the NHS.
