I just had an alert from Credit Karma to tell me Barclays Bank has done a soft credit search on me. I do not touch Barclays with a barge pole after a really poor experience 15 odd years ago. I have zero products or accounts with them. I haven’t recently looked for new insurance or anything like that.
People in the know, could this be a zealous marketing dept who are going to try and offer me a credit card (which makes me uncomfortable they can do that) or is someone trying to get credit in my name?
