Can zero hour contract affect remortgaging?

We're due to remortgage soon but I'm considering going to zero hour contract. Can this affect our remortgage?

Yes it will. Some lenders will accept zero hours but they will want to see good evidence of income so you will struggle if it's a new job. It's just too risky for a lender to lend based on a zero hour contract as how will you pay the mortgage if you get very few hours some weeks?
I have approved lending before on a zero hour contract but will two years P60s showing stable pay

Yes, it’s likely to affect your re-mortgage. The income isn’t guaranteed, so there are some lenders who won’t even count it.
