Present for mum with breast cancer 🎀

My lovely mum (58) has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She should be ok but we are all devastated for her. She doesn’t live in this country so I can’t even be with her yet (although will be visiting in the next 2 weeks) so we want to send her some lovely presents to cheer her up and show we are thinking of her…anyone that has been in this awful situation received anything that cheered them up or was really well received?

Money not unlimited but lots of people wish to chip in to send her something/ different but so please suggest anything! 🎀

So sorry to hear that. Some ideas:
Button up pyjamas from Cyberjammies (they’ve got some lovely quirky upbeat prints) because it’s hard to lift your arms after treatment.
Vouchers for a massage or spa day.
An MP3 player loaded with upbeat and relaxing music and podcasts.
Epsom salts
Nice biscuits or chocolates - my DM found that ginger biscuits really helped with the nausea

Moogoo (gentle moisuriser) They do an Oncology pack.

Do you know yet what treatment she will be having?

Chemo can make skin very sensitive and you have to be careful about reactions so like a PP says the MooGoo oncology pack is good.

If she's going to be having a lumpectomy or any other surgery then one of those beanbag tablet holders can be useful as it allows her to have her tablet/phone/iPad in a comfortable position without having to hold it up.

If she's not started treatment yet then maybe a spa/facial/massage before hand as she won't be able to use those services for a while.

I have breast cancer and my friends clubbed together and bought me a cashmere travel blanket which I adore and was so useful during chemo.
I’d also suggest cashmere bed socks or just eat vouchers if they have a few options locally. I had a few KFC lunches delivered during treatment.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 61.
Just flowers for now. Once you see her and know the treatment you can think of other things. Don't crowd her with your emotions.

Don’t buy a moo goo pack, there are charities that give out chemo or radiotherapy packs that contain it.

Not in my area there wasn't.

I had terrible problems with my arm after my mastectomy, so a nice beanbag/ cushion might be useful. A cushioned tray for eating off.
She may well be feeling quite anxious so Some calming aromatherapy oils/ wax melts/ roll on would be something she could use now.
