Tescos

Has anyone else had a tescos order tonight that’s just not shown up? Was suppose to be 8-9 but nothing, they don’t even contact you to tell you it’s not coming, seriously people bang on about online shopping being so much better but half the time the orders just don’t show up?! Currently on hold to them..

Ours came this morning, but it was late, which is very unusual.

This isn’t unusual where I am, it’s happened quite a few times just not showing up, it contained my childrens packed lunch for tomorrow for school 😒

any luck on the phone? Or an email that’s rescheduled it to (fingers crossed) very early tomorrow?

At first he said It’s been cancelled now he’s called the driver and he is coming in half an hour.. we will see!

I've been getting online deliveries for years, long before covid, but the last couple months I've had late deliveries or had cancelled ones. Not sure why there is suddenly a problem but there does seem to be one.

Ah it eventually turned up! He was in such a rush probably to still get to the others, yes it has definitely been a recent problem as they use to be very good. Going to try Asda Next time see if they are any better I usually only order tescos but recently it’s just been ridiculous.

What a pain having a delivery so late! I know folks will say 'oh great its come'! Bur really if you have booked 8-9 I wouldn't accept after 10, This happened to me with Ocado once - would 12 -1 am be Ok- no! I will be well asleep then (up at 6.30 for work) was booked for 7-8pm . Not the driver's fault - poor git. Have never taken it out on a driver - not their fault at all- greedy bosses generally piling too much on.

Yeh he clearly had to go off to do the other orders still as he was really rushing and helping me with the stuff normally they just stand there staring! I would never book such a late slot I hate people coming to my house that late at night.
