How to store outgrown baby clothes?

I’ve recently had my second (and last) baby so as he outgrows things I need to deal with them somehow. Ordinary stuff I’ll probably sell in bundles or donate but my sister has asked me to keep the nice / cute stuff for her as she’s hoping to have a baby soon.

I’m happy to give it to her but what’s a sensible / organised way to store it given I don’t know how long it’ll be until she gets pregnant?

Vaccine pac it. Store in wardrobe. It becomes a very small size.

Plastic storage boxes in garage (if you have one)

I’d vacuum bag it or put it in plastic boxes and give it to her to store.

Ours is in cardboard boxes, labelled by sex + stage (newborn, 0-3m, 3-6m etc) and season, in the loft.

Season very important for this - I had a very kind donation with my first of lots of tiny newborn jumpers and snowsuits from a good friend. Would have been lovely had she not been an august baby and in 3-6m by the time the weather turned 😂

I'd pass it all to your sister as he outgrows it and let her store it. She can then decide what's cute enough and either pass the 'rejects' back for you to dispose of or dispose of them for you.

I wouldn’t offer to her to store personally. I struggled to conceive my first and I’d have hated to have that stuff in the house hanging over me while we tried. Plus I like being able to put a bundle together for friends too!

Vacuum bags with a note that says what size they are.
