What is the alternative for boys? This is to put in Christmas stockings. Would it be socks? But girls also wear socks so is there anything gender specific for boys?
Thank you very much in advance for your replies.

Why does it have to be gender specific? As long as they get an equal number of presents in each stocking, it really won't matter.

Do boys tend to use decorative items on their hair? Hair gel if its short maybe

Does it need to be equivalent?

Sweetwindinmyhead · 29/09/2022 14:55

He’s 5.

I suppose it depends on what the boy would like.

They don't have to be exactly matchy - just similar number of size items, some perhaps the same, others following each DC's likes, wants or needs

Doesn’t have to be gender specific but sometimes people do come up with great ideas so thought I’d ask

A headband with bug eyes on, or some other equivalent dress-up/costume item. Tbh I'd do that for both girls and boys instead of hair bows unless the girls particularly love bows.

Hat/cap.

girlmom21 · 29/09/2022 15:01

How about some temporary tattoos?

Sweetwindinmyhead · 29/09/2022 15:04

Yes! That’s a good one. Thank you

My boy loved wristbands at around 5-6 like the slap bands or the sort of silicone feeling ones. That's sort of equivalent to hair bows as its decorative?

My son loved bath slime in his stocking! My daughter had hair accessories and a bath bomb.
