Heated throw help

My husband bought a dreamland heated throw recently and it doesn’t seem to be getting very hot. He’s had it on setting 6 for an hour now and it’s barely lukewarm. Is this normal? I’m very disappointed really as the reviews are very good. I expected it to get a lot warmer.

Wouldn't say so, I have the same brand and it's hot. As in I have to turn it down!

No it's not normal. I have this throw and it gets very hot quite quickly.

Definitely not normal. Mine is really hot on 6 - usually within minutes!

I said this in a previous thread, I've got a Dreamland and the first time I used it on 6 I was a bit meh. I think I had a strange expectation that it would be hot and fast. I now love it. I only need it on 6 for the warm up hour and then change it to 3 or 4 for longer on the timer but I am toasty warm.

I had this problem with mine and then I started sitting on it rather than under it and the difference in heat it gives off is unbelievable!

I sit on mine with it wrapped around me like a human burrito and 6 would be far too hot.

I think he’s going to return it as it doesn’t sound like it’s working properly.
