I'm hearing lots of panic about rising rates, what would you do if you were PM?

Liz the problem you now have is that the markets do not have any confidence in you or big K. Showing some humility would be helpful, just to show you are starting to gain a bit of self awareness - perhaps agree that in fact Labour's idea of a windfall tax on the energy companies is in fact a far better idea than the tax payer funding it. You then need to announce a proper budget, not at the end of November, but in two weeks time when parliament's back.

Or you can resign.

Realistically, interest rates are going to go up, but not by as much with big K at the helm.

Give tax relief to companies who can manufacture 250,000 windproof and waterproof family tents for delivery by next August.

Are you feeling stressed Liz? Maybe take a break, think about a career change? Have some you time.

I mean how can we fix this without me asking my mates to actually pay some tax?

And how will that fix things anyway? What can I do to lower interest rates, K isn't replying to my texts.

Hand over the reins to Rishi S... I don't agree with the guy, but at least he's more clued up on economics than certain others who believe the maximum energy bill any household will face is £2,500

Liz - change how inflation is defined - don't include stuff like food or fuel. That should reduce the rate of inflation, hence no need for the BoE to raise interest rates - jobs a good'un!

Thank me later.

Oooh so if I spin this right then nobody is going to have to sell their houses when they can't afford their new mortgage rates?
