Anyone go to concerts, Is it better to wait?

I have been put in charge of buying concert tickets! The pre sale starts tomorrow, general sale is friday. Am I right in thinking with pre sale you don't get to pick the seats and they are allocated to you? Are they generally good seats? Or is it better for me to wait until the general sale?

Also, is getting front row seats pot luck?

You get a choice of seats with presale .

We always buy from resale simply because you have the option to choose where you want to sit. I have to be as near to the stage as possible.

Don't wait for the main sale, buy from pre-sale. You will get a choice of tickets.

Pre-Sale gets you the best choice of seats if you have access - go for it.
