Christmas weekend in London

Can anyone recommend any Christmas must do's or insider ideas for a December weekend in London with young teens? Free or low cost ideas gratefully received! Thank you 😊

Just walk in the evening. The lights are fab!

We saw Matilda one Christmas in the afternoon and then wandered slowly back to our hotel.

Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square were lovely.

I’m sure they do evening bus tours, that would be really nice. The Sky Garden is free but I haven’t been up there at Christmas x

Going to the ice rink at Somerset House, even just to look at it. Really magical.

I went on my own before the pandemic and it was really busy with a good atmosphere. It was nice to enjoy that. The lights are lovely. Perhaps a show? A river walk? Really hope you enjoy!

I would recommend getting on a bus to see the lights but not the ones that are tour buses , just London transport ones. Look at the tfl website
