Anyone else's dyson vacuum a complete nightmare

It hardly holds a charge. It constantly cuts out or stops working entirely. It also makes a strange sound like it's going to die any minute almost like a pulsating sound. It's so stressful never knowing if it is going to work or not. And honestly the filter needs cleaning constantly.

My Dyson is the same. Absolutely useless. I even bought a new battery, thinking that would help. It didn't. The bloody thing doesn't work for longer than 5 minutes. It's no good at all.

I hate them. The DC01 was good. Since then dog shit but I get drawn in every time. They know what would be ideal but refuse to make a robust one. I wanted the contrarotator washer too.

Yup I've had mine 2.5 years so far it's had

  • new body
  • 2 nr new filters

I've just had to pay £70 for a new battery 2 weeks ago

The main roller head broke at the weekend - that's another £60
